The 1970s vibe has my heart, and I was so fortunate to find the perfect location and model to create this vintage style empowerment shoot in Port Waikato, Auckland. We managed to put together the most beautiful vintage inspired outfits for this original 1970s backdrop. It was one of those sessions where everything just came together even better than what we had planned for. After nailing an incredible amount of beautiful shots we moved down to the ocean to create these ethereal goddess inspired shots. This is just a small selection of what were able to capture on the day. Kaaarina(Ngāpuhi/Airihi) nailed exactly the vibe we were going for in every single shot with grace and presence. I’ve since worked with her again on another collaborative shoot and she has scored some super impressive modelling gigs proving that there is indeed a market for beautiful clothes for beautiful curves girls!
